Post-trial motions in Department 5 must be scheduled via email to sscdept5@lacourt.ca.gov with case number, title, motion type, and desired hearing dates; CRS is not used.
Department 5 does not use CRS (court reservation system) to schedule post-trial motions. IF THE PARTIES WOULD LIKE TO SCHEDULE A POST-TRIAL MOTION, A REQUEST MUST BE MADE BY ELECTRONIC MAIL TO sscdept5@lacourt.ca.gov WITH THE CASE NUMBER, CASE TITLE, TYPE OF MOTION, AND A LIST OF DESIRED HEARING DATES.

Post-trial motion scheduling requests must be made by email to sscdept5@lacourt.ca.gov and must include the case number, case title, type of motion, and a list of desired hearing dates.

Department 5 prohibits scheduling post-trial motions via telephone.
DEPARTMENT 5 WILL NOT SCHEDULE ANY POST-TRIAL MOTIONS BY TELEPHONE.

Department 5 does not use CRS, and any post-trial motions scheduled through the originating courtroom's CRS will not be heard in Department 5.
ANY POST-TRIAL MOTIONS SCHEDULED USING THE CRS OF THE ORIGINATING COURTROOM WILL NOT BE HEARD IN DEPARTMENT 5.
