A moving party must file a supporting memorandum with the motion, including relied-upon authorities and appropriate supporting materials, and a draft judgment entry if the motion is granted.

An objecting party must submit written objections attached to the proposed entry, or may submit an alternative proposed entry, and must serve written objections and alternative entries on counsel and unrepresented parties.

A judge must rule on the objections within 30 days after the last objection is filed.

A scheduled mediation may be continued only for good cause after a mutually acceptable future date is determined; pending motions alone are not good cause absent court authorization, and mediation must be schedulable before the final pretrial.

Mediation may not be ordered when a party is indigent unless it is available to that party at no cost.

A fax-transmitted document and its signature are accepted as originals.

Each fax transmission must pertain to only one case.

A fax-transmitted document may not exceed 30 pages excluding the cover page and may pertain to only one case.

Pretrial motions are decided without oral hearing unless a party requests one and the Court finds it necessary; absent a hearing, opposition is due within seven days, and rebuttal or reply submissions require prior Court approval.
