A continuance request for a proceeding with a court interpreter must be submitted on local form MMC-110, advising that the interpreter will not be needed.

  • Applies to

Support or attorney-fee awards require an attached written agreement or sufficient calculation information, including the specified FL-150 materials where applicable; public assistance also requires the specified DCSS attorney signature with the proposed judgment.

  • Applies to
    Settlement conference materials

All parties must organize in advance and bring settlement-related records and documents to the conference, with relevant deposition pages and lines pre-marked.

Service

All 78
  • Deadline
    3 business days

The CASA program must provide the report to all counsel of record at least three business days before the hearing.

  • Service
    Mail

The clerk will attempt to serve a small-claims plaintiff’s claim on a corporation, partnership, or agency by certified mail with return receipt requested.

  • Failure to file proof of service in compliance with CCP section 116.340(c) may result in dismissal.

Filing Timing

All 61
  • Supplementary instructions can be submitted and received by the court at such time and condition as may be just.

  • Deadline
    10 business days

When a proceeding requires an original document, an electronic filer may file an electronic copy if the original is filed with the court within 10 business days.

  • Deadline
    5 business days

Exhibits may be e-filed five business days before the hearing and must be served on all parties at least two business days before the hearing.

E-Filing

All 24

Opposition to restraining order ex parte application

Opposition to a restraining-order ex parte application may be submitted by e-filing, email, or in person at the courthouse where review was reserved.

  • Applies to
Opposition to non restraining order ex parte application

Opposition to a non-restraining-order ex parte application must be filed in person with the clerk in the branch where the request was reserved.
